Scott W. Mosser, MD began his career in Medicine as a Fulbright Scholar to Ecuador, where he spent a year investigating the Ecuadorian healthcare system. He is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, TX) and Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH), where he completed his internship and 6 years of comprehensive general and plastic surgery training. He followed with a year long fellowship in dedicated aesthetic surgery where he perfected his techniques in facial and whole body cosmetic surgery.
Most recently, Dr. Mosser opened up his private office in the historic 450 Sutter building in beautiful Union Square in San Francisco. Procedures are done in office and at a number of institutions including California Pacific Medical Center, St. Francis Medical Center and Seton Medical Center. He continues to dedicate himself to his patients, and strives to remain at the forefront of his field.
Dr. Mossers philosophy focuses on preserving his patients natural appearance, and utilizing his knowledge of aesthetics to balance and improve the desired area of the body. Improvement through plastic surgery should occur by establishing harmony, not by a manipulation of a persons fundamental appearance. Enhancing peoples lives and witnessing positive changes in self confidence are key reasons Dr. Mosser chose his profession, and still loves performing plastic surgery everyday.
Patients are always included in a thorough educational process and in-depth discussion with regards to goals, techniques, and the entire operative experience. Every effort will be made to ensure that patients are comfortable with every step of the plastic surgery experience and that they are always aware of the supporting resources that our office provides.
When he is not working, Dr. Mosser is a dedicated adventurer, avid world traveler, lover of the performing arts, and most of all enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
