Dr. Sherman, who devotes most of
his practice to aesthetic surgery, specializes in facial rejuvenation and body contouring. An expert in liposuction, he was one of the
first plastic surgeons in the United States trained to perform ultrasonic-assisted liposuction, a state-of-the-art technique. Dr. Sherman
is also an authority in endoscopic transaxillary breast augmentation as well as in revisional breast surgery. As a result of his
expertise, Dr. Sherman is regularly consulted by patients from all corners of the world.
All of Dr.
Sherman's plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery patients are given the option of having their surgery performed in a hospital or at his
beautiful 2,000 square foot in-office surgical facility, where every measure has been taken to ensure their comfort and safety. The
state-of-the-art surgical suites and recovery rooms are equipped to hospital standards. Our surgery suite is certified by the American
Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF). Anesthesia services to Dr. Sherman's facility are provided by
North Shore Anesthesia Associates, all of whom are board-certified anesthesiologists affiliated with North Shore University Hospital.
For the convenience of patients who wish to convalesce privately, two
recovery hotels are adjacent to Dr. Sherman's facility. Registered nurses usually stay with the patient in these recovery
facilities.
