Dr. Parson is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a special interest in cosmetic surgery and breast reconstruction following cancer. He is the current Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Hospital. He is a Certified Diplomate of The American Board of Plastic Surgery and The American Board of Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Parson received a BS from The University of Utah in Biomedical Engineering. He obtained an MD degree from The George Washington University, and completed a General Surgery Residency at The Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency.
Dr. Parson is currently an Associate Professor of Surgery at The University of Arizona. He is a Clinical Instructor in Plastic Surgery for both The Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency and The Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Parson performs all types of plastic surgery but has a special interest in both cosmetic surgery and breast reconstruction.

Dr. Parson's Office
Dr. Parson's office is state-of-the-art, with a beautifully appointed waiting room, an audio/video presentation room, a complete digital photo studio, as well as multiple consultation rooms and a minor procedure room. Our office staff will make every effort to make your consultation a pleasant one. During your visit you will meet with Dr. Parson, his nurse and his office coordinator. We will make every effort to fully educate you regarding your aesthetic procedure and answer any questions you may have. Dr. Parson will then recommend the best surgical options for your specific situation.

State-of-the-art surgical suites and recovery rooms meet the highest level of certification � they are accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (AAAASF). Piper's spacious, comfortable waiting area provides a welcoming and pleasant environment for patients, family, and friends.
A critical ingredient of any successful surgery is the anesthesiologist. Each anesthesiologist with whom Dr. Parson works is a fully trained and board-certified physician. Each specializes in outpatient plastic surgical procedures and has experience with hundreds of cases similar to yours. Along with our other personnel, these specialists make what could be an intimidating time a calm, safe, and personalized experience.
The quality of systems in place for ensuring your safety during and following surgery is an important aspect of your care. Our operating and recovery rooms are equipped to hospital standards. Registered nurses who are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support are with our patients during their stay in the recovery rooms. Should your surgery require an overnight stay, Piper has 10 fully appointed private suites located on site. RNs staff the Piper Recovery Suites 24 hours a day. The Piper medical staff aspires to meet the highest standards of patient care through continual education and review.
